Electronic invoices

Using electronic invoicing offers many advantages. It is faster, user-friendly, and efficient. It is also a sustainable solution for several reasons. From 1 January 2026, electronic invoicing will even become mandatory in the B2B sector in Belgium. By 2028, electronic invoicing is expected to become the standard across Europe as well. Naturally, Würth Belux supports this way of working.

Through an external partner, we offer several options for receiving your invoice electronically: email, OpenPeppol, and more. You simply choose the solution that best matches your needs. Of course, all solutions comply with legal requirements.

Our Belgian customers will receive their invoices via Peppol from 1 January 2026, unless they fall under an exception rule. If your Peppol identification code differs from your VAT number, you may let us know via

service@wurth.be. When invoices are sent via Peppol, you will receive them in both PDF and UBL format.

For our Luxembourg customers, invoices can be delivered by email or via Peppol. One email will be sent for each new invoice. When sent by email, the invoice will be attached in PDF format. This option can also be requested via the “Request now” section at the top of the page, using your VAT number and the relevant email address to which you would like to receive our invoices.

We would also be happy to note the email address of your administration/accounting department for possible reminders and other non-commercial communication. You may also send this information to us via service@wurth.be.

All other choices can be communicated by email to service@wurth.be. We can then verify your preference and, where possible, set it up immediately.
